Zubiri signs ratified Maharlika bill, 2 others
SENATE President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri on Wednesday signed three ratified bills, namely the Maharlika Investment Fund Act, Estate Tax Amnesty Extension Act, and the act recognizing Baler, Aurora, as the birthplace of Philippine Surfing.
He signed the measures at the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC, where he is presently conducting a working visit, and holding meetings with members of the United States Congress and government agencies.
Senate Secretary Renato Bantug, who is part of the Senate contingent for the working visit, brought along the ratified copies to Washington.
