Walking Tour | Death March Memorial Shrine in Capas, Tarlac

The Capas Death March Monument is located along MacArthur Highway in Capas, Tarlac. This memorial shrine commemorates the Bataan Death March that took place in 1942 between Bataan to Pampanga. It was from this location that the Japanese Imperial Army unloaded their prisoners of war (American and Filipino soldiers) from the train boxcars to begin the final stage of the Death March.
