The Hinatuan River in Mindanao, Philippines, is a deep spring river on the island of Mindanao. About 30 minutes from the town of Hinatuan in Barangay Cambatong lays the Hinatuan River which has become one of the most popular tourist attraction sites in Philippines. The surface of the water is typically calm & peacefull, and this combined with the impressive clarity of the bright blue water, gives this place an unreal, magical quality. The river has such crystal-clear waters, that you can see the riverbed even at the deepest part. Hinatuan River earned it’s moniker “Enchanted River” after being described in a poem written by the diplomat Modesto Farolan.
