Egay (Doksuri), the Philippines’ fifth tropical cyclone for 2023, intensified into a super typhoon on Tuesday, July 25.
Egay is primarily threatening Northern Luzon, but other parts of Luzon and even some areas in the Visayas are also affected due to the super typhoon’s strength and size.
It is also enhancing the southwest monsoon or habagat.
