Palace orders Abra vice governor suspended for ordering hospital lockdown

Malacañang confirmed on Saturday that it has ordered the suspension of Abra Vice Governor Maria Jocelyn Valera-Bernos for ordering the lockdown of a hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was confirmed to reporters by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
The Office of the President suspended Bernos for 18 months in connection to an administrative case filed against her when she was governor.
