Luzon power lines down due to Typhoon Egay

Several power lines in Luzon were rendered unavailable amid the strong winds brought by Typhoon Egay.

In an advisory, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) listed the power transmission lines that tripped due to the weather disturbance:

• Lal-lo-Sta. Ana 69kV Line – Date/time out: July 25, 2023 / 8:13 p.m. (initially restored at 7:11 p.m.), Customer affected: CAGELCO II
• San Esteban-Bangued 69kV Line – Date/time out: July 26, 2023 / 12:28 a.m., Customer affected: ABRECO
• Itogon-Ampucao 23kV Line – Date/time out: July 26, 2023
