LPA, shear line, ‘amihan’ to bring scattered rain showers over parts of Luzon, Visayas
Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may persist in the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas in the next 24 hours due to the combined effects of the low pressure area (LPA) and shear line, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, Feb. 20.
PAGASA estimated the location of the LPA 190 kilometers (km) north of Legazpi City, Albay or 210 km east of Infanta, Quezon, as of 3 a.m.
It is still not ruling out the possibility of the LPA developing
