ITCZ affecting Visayas, Mindanao, Mimaropa, easterlies in rest of PH –

MANILA, Philippines — Visayas, Mindanao and Mimaropa are affected by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the state-run weather bureau reported.

In its morning bulletin on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while the rest of Mindanao will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms because of the ITCZ
