DPWH rushes installation of ‘estero’ booster pumps in Manila

To combat heavy flooding during the rainy season and inclement weather, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is fast-tracking work in the installation of new booster pumps along Estero de San Miguel in Manila.

DPWH National Capital Region (NCR) Director Loreta M. Malaluan said that the ongoing booster pump project has received a P100 million allocation forphase 1 and another P100 million for Phase 2.
