CAAP: Some north Luzon airports sustain minor damage due to Egay

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported on Wednesday on the situation of several airports it operates in Northern Luzon as Typhoon Egay traverses the region.
In its situation report, CAAP said Laoag International Airport’s flight operations have been halted due to bad weather, “but once the weather permits, the airport will be re-opened by afternoon.”
