‘Amihan,’ shear line to bring rain in parts of PH — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines: The northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan,” and the shear line – where the hot and cold air converge – are likely to bring significant rain in parts of the country over the next three days, the state-run weather agency said on Saturday.
Weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said they have not monitored any low pressure area inside and outside the country’s area of responsibility in the coming days.
